Prolific Shoplifter Arrested

C Relief Town Hall NBO officers have been proactively working to target prolific shoplifters in the area. They recently identified a series of shoplifting offences at Waterstones in the Arndale Centre where the same methods were used to steal, resulting in over £1000 worth of goods being stolen. Through the gathering of evidence, including statements and CCTV footage, a known shoplifter was identified and arrested for 5 different shoplifting offences. He was later charged and remanded to court for all 5 offences and he has recently received a 4 month Custodial Sentence.
